TRAFFIC LIGHT CHILD

Mummy SEE those children on the streets
As the traffic-light turns RED
They surge into the streets
Washing windscreens
Begging and hawking for money
The traffic-light goes GREEN
They scamper around.

They are shooed
They are scorned
They are abused and called names
Some are offered token changes by motorist

Mummy why are these children selling on the streets?
Mummy why does he want to wash your windscreen?
Why don’t I see these children in my school?
Why am I in school and they are not?
I want to be a Doctor when a grow up

I wonder what the children on the streets  will want to be?
Street Child washing windscreen @ traffic-light

Street Child waiting with bottle and brush,
expectant or dejected?

DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT- Nigeria's low-cost tablet computer

Nigeria's Saheed Adepoju is a young man with big dreams. He is the inventor of the Inye, a tablet computer designed for the African market.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-18895366

Mr. Saheed, is known and promoted by International media such as BBC, Reuters and CNN. However, the question is how much support is Nigeria willing to give to this young man as the first Nigerian/African to take this bold step?

If we are a country serious about development, the Nigerian government and the private sector must band together to engage and seek a global position in the technology world through Mr. Saheed and Encipher LTD.http://enciphergroup.com/
