A word I find myself using too often these days.

Have I missed the meaning?
Or is human brain regressing in this advanced century

I often wonder!!
Am more perplexed each day
I seek to understand
Has stupidity become norm rather than random?

Maybe it has been re-defined and I missed that class
Maybe the ratio had always been this high but obscured until social platforms Expo

Thrown from the car windows

The trash I see on road divide
The trash thrown over household walls, water ways, and gutters
The amazing idiocy as we rush out throwing trash into gutters as soon as heavens open with rain.

I laugh, where is your trash?
As you step out in your beauty splendour
As you drive bye and see the disgusting roadside
Which one is your own?

The malaria, the diarrhea, the cholera, the typhoid and those we cannot name

Once again I come back to pompous society
Once again I ask how badly have our brains mutated

Dream of A Future

I have a dream
I have a purpose

Does it apply to the 6years old
Diagnosed with HIV contracted from an Uncle, teacher ……?
What are the thoughts of 13years old married off and pregnant?
The 17years old with her 5th pregnancy?
What is in the horizon
For the 9years old sex toy of 16 men?

Society what say yea?
To our children
Who are burdened with carnal knowledge forcefully bestowed
Who speaks for them?
Who ensures the preservation of innocence?

Weeping for childhood
Weeping for ignorance
Weeping for justification not justifiable yet we find justifications in places that ought to abhor such

Yes say I it!!
Our mutated brains’ contortions of religion and culture
Even that our ancestors abhor we justify
Leave thou our children
Obliterate not childhood
Generations of vipers we become when we quite keep.

Human dignity and worth

Marriage cannot define

Marriage only amplifies

Therefore let us exist in peace oh yeah righteous society 

Leave the maidens be until a companion worthy of entrusting the dignity of womanhood arises.

Atlantis of Childhood

The Ipads, the Wifi, the platforms
We are sucked in
The world has collapsed
Reasoning and opinions now facts

The steroids
The genetics
The supplements
The Vaccines
All good

We have mutated
Taken another form
Our brains are scrambled
Is it the food?
Is it the Wifi?
Is it the Tech gadgets?
The magic supplements?
Lazy minds, dormant brains, arrested development or fundamental stupidity?
????? My questions persists
My Mind is rattled

Now our brains tell us
The 7 year old is 13
The 13 is 21
We see the boobs
We see their eloquence
We see their global grasp
The 9 year old battle with hormones of a 16year old

What do we do?
Explain childhood to a child
No!
Instead we encourage their thoughts of maturity
We encourage their urge to explore adulthood

Tse Tse society have failed childhood
Just like middle class is being wiped out
We now have infancy transcending straight to adulthood

Repent oh yeah people
Our children need their elders
To becomes leaders of tomorrow

The Economics of War and Development

The 1st world war showcased the magnitude oil and crude can play in global power and politics. After the war helped the discovery of the significance of oil and crude, there was a huge play of power, manipulation and tussle as to who controls oil producing wells in the Middle East. National governments such as Iran, Iraq that wanted to use the oil power to topple western control were out-gamed by the seven sisters- that is the giant oil companies. 

The Gulf war, Iraq-Iranian war, Israeli-Egypt war further destabilized the region, OPEC creation and manipulation of oil prices led to spike in oil prices resulting in huge wealth and resources to the giant oil companies. This meant that global control was kept back within western companies, hence Middle East politics influenced and manipulated by such.

In the 2001 US-Iraq war, control of oil wells was priority under the guise of terrorism. Make no mistake war on terror was a genuine objective but without oil wells in contention, the approach would have been different.

Between 2010 and 2012-onward Arab spring, we have seen attention paid to States where economic interest overshadows while States with less economic or geographical significance in global power play becomes a UN academic exercise on debates and veto power.

Now North Korea and South Korea have risen with threat of nuclear war, of course there needs to be a serious global security threat equal to terrorism that allow western involvement. Reviewing that wars and destabilization always have an economically based manipulation, one must interrogate what economic benefit accrues to the destabilization of the Asia pacific region. Would such undermine China's growing economic power or would it improve China's global power grip and economics? A power seen as serious threat to other economies.

My question remains, how does MDGs achieve its developmental goals and objectives when economic equality of States poses threats to world super powers. Hence we can only deduce that poverty, under-development of some States must always be maintained, therefore certain level of conflicts, regional destabilization as long as the balance of global integrity is not tipped may be pursued by some States.

The economics of war must always be reflected on, while war is a great negative, human history records far too many wars than times of peace and no war is yet to take place that was not a question of economics. Money is power. War for some remains a source of income.

War undermines the opportunities for development.

Regressing Human Rights in Developed World- 2012 US Elections

There remains a perpetual threat to human rights; the propaganda has always associated repressed human rights with developing third world countries where promoting cultural and religious practices have often been defined automatically as a hindrance to human rights implementation and an antithesis to democracy and civilized society.

However, there looms a huge threat because developed nations work under the illusion that they belong to a free world where freedom to citizens is a given. How so untrue! This illusion has engendered a lethargy that induces sleep and creates an environment where peoples relinquishes basic human rights.

So much for freedom! United States of America- Our often exalted land of freedom used for comparison especially by civil society organizations worldwide. Here in this land that fought so hard for civil rights and women endured so much for equal rights and blacks died just to be counted as ONE human been. Now racism has been built up so much that it knows no boundary that even The number one citizen is not spared. Women are held within the death grip of fear that the clock is about to reset and Bermuda Triangle phenomenon set to unleash on the female gender. 

Of course the 21st century discrimination is worst than what was in operation 50years ago because this is not just directed at blacks and Indians, it has no basis nor does it have a tangible tangent from which the arrows are thrown. Discrimination is now about an unknown feeling of fear to accommodate that we cannot define, are uncomfortable around, do not understand, and is just not us. 

So sad, but I do hope that the American citizens now comprehend the fact that their world is unsafe, and the developing nations are not the only ones in need of salvation. The 2012 elections is a great opportunity for learning about the need for constant vigilante on human rights while the economic recession teaches us that economic and social rights are not the definition of socialism and communism. America and Americans are in need of this crucial education.
